You don't need these new Node.js APIs

New Node.js APIs can be useful without being necessary for every project. This talk examines features such as node --watch, node:test, parseArgs, --env-file, and node:sqlite, then broadens the discussion to frameworks, runtimes, IDEs, and package managers.

The central idea is YAGNI: stay curious, but adopt a tool when it answers a real need rather than because it is newer, faster, or supposedly simpler.
